Condit Elementary School

3rd Grade Supply List

Dear Parent(s),

We are excited to have your child join us next year in third grade.  It will be a year of growing, learning, and creating as we journey together!  We are so fortunate to have iPads for each student.  You will be amazed at what they will accomplish!

Each year students are anxious to come to school loaded with new school supplies. During the summer, as you begin preparing for the next school year, you might find wonderful sales for school supplies.  So, we would like to make some suggestions as to what would be helpful for your child to bring to start the school year:

  • Earbuds or Headphones (your child's preference)(possibly 2, they break easily)
  • Stylus
  • Electronic Microfiber Cleaning Cloth
  • Wipe-off Board (approx. 9x12)
  • Black Dry Erase Markers
  • Colored pencils
  • #2 pencils
  • Thin colored markers
  • Thick colored markers
  • Black Felt Tip Markers (Paper Mate Flair Markers work best for "Publishing Pens")
  • 24 count crayons
  • Erasers (non decorative)
  • Glue sticks
  • 2 spiral notebooks
  • 1 folder (to be used in desk)
  • Boxes of tissues
  • Packages of hand/baby wipes (not cleaning wipes)
  • Hand sanitizer

*Supplies the classroom is in need of throughout the year include:  packages of white and colored cardstock, packages of brightly colored paper, packages of white copy paper, hand sanitizer, small Dixie cups, black dry erase markers, pencils, etc...

*Please remember that this is a suggested list.If a student is unable to purchase these items, the school will provide all necessary supplies.

If you would like to get a jump start over the summer on the third grade curriculum, please feel free to begin working on multiplication facts, a daily reading routine, and writing in a journal or letters to family or friends.  We are looking forward to meeting our new third graders on our first day of school.

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                                The Third Grade Team
