    Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!  The Condit Staff and I thrilled to begin another exciting year at Condit.  We appreciate our families and school community for their patience as we navigated through an unprecedented time.

As we begin the 2022-2023 school year, I am happy to share that we are awaiting new of our latest application for Apple Distinguished School.  Condit continues to excel with innovation, along with the utilization of 1:1 iPad in all classrooms.   Our K-5 teachers will continue their exploration of a new Science adoption, that is aligns to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).  The K-5 teachers will also be looking at History/Social Science adoptions during this school year.

One of the most exciting things that happened last year was the implementation of our new STEAM Lab.  I cannot express enough how much our students and staff utilized the STEAM Lab this past school year,  We are so appreciative to the team of parent volunteers who transformed the STEAM Lab into what it is today!

As of today, we anticipate that volunteering will be possible during this new school year, so be sure to be on the lookout for information as the official school year begins.  We are continually thankful for the generous donations and supportive community. We could not do it without you!

I am looking forward to being a part of each one of our students’ academic and developmental accomplishments as they grow this year. As a staff, we continue to look at each student as individuals, and guide them through to their success collaboratively. Condit is truly a unique and special place.

As the school year progresses, please be sure to check your weekly bulletin for information on updates, and other special information. The newsletter will be posted on the website and can also be e-mailed to your home. I look forward to getting to know all our students and their families. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at 909-398-0300 or through my e-mail cmalally@cusd.claremont.edu

Condit Elementary School opened its doors to eager young minds in 1958 and continues to welcome diverse families from many neighborhoods and neighboring communities.  The school is located in Claremont, California, about 30 miles east of Los Angeles.  Claremont is home to nationally renowned colleges, yet has a small town appeal.  Money, a national magazine, ranked Claremont the best place to live in California and the fifth best place to live in the nation, according to economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do, and a sense of community.
